The Truth?

Why were the emergency calls made by Averil's flat cleaner about her concerns for her health not taken seriously and appropriately acted upon?

When serious concerns were raised about the health of Averil - a high-risk anorexic patient - why wasn't a medically-trained member of staff sent to see her?

Why weren't effective procedures put in place in the case of an emergency for a high-risk, disabled student at UEA?

When a report was commissioned for the University into the circumstances surrounding Averil's death, why was it not possible for the investigator to meet with the Mental Health Coordinator, the mentor, or the cleaner who had found Averil unconscious?

"I requested meetings with the Mental Health Coordinator, the mentor and the cleaner, but was told that it was not possible to meet them. This was a pity, because I was keen to find out exactly what the cleaner had noticed."

Why was the investigator unable to see those closest to Averil while she was alive when he was conducting his investigation? Why did the University of East Anglia try to hide the circumstances of her death?

Have the University of East Anglia orchestrated a cover-up surround Averil's death and its obvious lack of care?

Why did the Vice Chancellor, David Richardson, fail to conduct an independent report into the complaints process as promised?

Why were Averil's family not given the report until six months after it had been published?
